Admission / Registration
When the physician schedules your appointment, certain information is required in order for us to begin the registration process. This information is discussed below. We are available Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Voice mail is available after-hours; let us know when it is convenient to return your call.
All information is kept confidential and will be verified upon your arrival to the hospital.
The purpose of registration is to ensure our customers with the best outcome in order to maximize the patient’s insurance benefits. The billing process provides key demographics and insurance information that will be verified.
Please present all insurance cards at the time of admission. Your demographic and insurance information will be verified. Patients and/or guardian will be asked to sign a consent form during the registration process. We are required to ask you about Advanced Directives and religious preference. Admissions staff is required to complete a Medicare Secondary Payer questionnaire on all Medicare patients. The average registration takes 6 minutes. |
