Terrorism Response Training
Terrorism Response Training was recently held in Gonzales. Gonzales Healthcare Systems sponsored Terrorism Response Training for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosive Devises (CBRNE).
The training provided participants with an understanding of the methods necessary to respond to terrorism threats or incidents involving CBRNE agents. Participants learned how to detect the presence of weapons of mass destruction, take self-protective measures, and gain a basic overview of Incident Command Systems (ICS).
Participants included staff from Memorial Hospital, Sievers Medical Clinic, EMS, Fire Department and several concerned citizens.
