|The Accounting Department is an essential support department of Gonzales Healthcare Systems. The Chief Financial Officer, Patty Stewart, along with the accounting staff ensures the viability of the hospital. The department provides accurate financial and statistical data that is presented to Administration and the Board of Directors on a monthly basis. |
The accounting department is also responsible for processing vendor payments, employee expense reimbursements, preparing miscellaneous invoices, posting payments and assisting claim follow-up.
This department works as a team with other departments of the hospital to fulfill their duties. They provide the financial information necessary for management to make decisions which support quality health care at a reasonable cost for our community.
