Shower Your Baby with Books Each new baby and new mother will be provided a packet from the Iota Xi Chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, an honor society for women educators. They want you to have the packet of enclosed books as a reminder to read to your children as often as possible. They believe introducing books to your infant will set your child on a lifelong course of enjoying reading. As you nourish your child with food, love, guidance, and care, remember to include reading as a daily habit.
