 | The Gonzales Healthcare Systems Respiratory Therapy Department provides physician ordered theraputic treatment to patients of all ages with pulmonary complications in the in-patient and out-patient setting. The following services are available through this department: patient evaluation, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, volume expansion therapy, sputum induction, bronchopulmonary hygene procedures, tracheobronchial hygine and care, electrocardiograms, arterial blood gas collection, pulse oximetry, pulmonary function studies, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, ventilator management, and patient education.
In the outpatient setting, respiratory therapists provide: Pulmonary Function Studies, EKG’s, and Arterial Blood Testing. | |
