 | The Gonzales Healthcare Systems Respiratory Therapy Department provides physician ordered theraputic treatment to patients of all ages with pulmonary complications in the in-patient and out-patient setting. The following services are available through this department: patient evaluation, patient education, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, volume expansion therapy, sputum induction, bronchopulmonary hygene procedures, tracheobronchial hygine and care, electrocardiograms, arterial blood gas collection, pulse oximetry, pulmonary function studies, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, invasive and non-invasive managementof the comprised respiratory patient.
In the outpatient setting, respiratory therapists provide: Pulmonary Function Studies, EKG’s, and Arterial Blood Testing. | |
