Gonzales Healthcare Systems is proud to announce Greg Tieken as our newest board member. He will represent Precinct 3. Greg is a graduate of Gonzales High School and The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Accounting. He recently retired from a 36-year career in banking and worked as a Certified Public Accountant for five years prior to banking. During that span, he served as President of the First National Bank of Gonzales and First Commercial Bank of Seguin. He also held positions in trade associations on the national board of The Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders and on several committees with the Independent Bankers Association of Texas. He was elected to the board of the Gonzales County Water Supply Corporation starting in 1986 and is presently serving as President. He is active with the Knights of Columbus Council #5090 and is a member of St. James Catholic Church. Other previous community involvement includes holding officer and board positions with the Gonzales Little League, Gonzales Chamber of Commerce, Gonzales Noon Lions Club, as well as being elected to the Gonzales City Council.
