Injury Prevention Program

  • Post-Offer Evaluations – Employee evaluations to determine if the employee can perform the job’s essential functions and recommendation of needed accommodations. Consists of the physical tasks listed on job descriptions as essential functions determined by the employer. This service is viewed as a cost-effective method of reducing injury costs and ensuring that the right person is placed for employment.
  • Back Education– A prevention-oriented, work site-based back injury program that addresses posture, proper lifting, fitness, and useful stretching techniques.
  • Job Site Analysis – Confidential assessment completed to assist employer in identifying potentially hazardous conditions. Develop a corrective action plan to meet OSHA standards.
  • Drug Screening – Drug Screening is available for pre-employment, post-accident, random, and reasonable suspicion. Urine and breath alcohol screens are available.

Work Injury Manangement

  • Functional Capacity Evals – Process of objectively determining an individual’s ability to perform a series of work-related tasks. Lifting, carrying, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, and hand strength, as well as coordination skills, are evaluated. This evaluation focuses on selected work tolerance areas. The information gathered is generally descriptive enough to compare the client’s ability to perform a specific job.
  • Work Conditioning – Program consists of progressive exercise and general work-simulation activities. Work conditioning promotes increased work tolerance and prepares clients for return-to-work by maximizing functional potential.
  • Work Injury Treatment – Timely and effective functionally-based treatment designed around goals for fast return to work.
